Hi all,

When I run textmod and enter GW, no adjustments can be seen on the map (so: no colour varieties, e.g. red or blue).
I use textmod in the following way:
- I search and select the GW.exe file by pressing the large(r) icon (GW.exe was found in the GW directory).
- I search and select the map (in this case: Tyria) by pressing the smaller icon.
- I then select on the map file (turns blue after selection).
- Then I press "Run".
- Then I am re-directed to the log-on screen of GW.
- When I enter the log-on name and password and go to "M".
- Then I see no changes made.

Can anyone explain what I have to do in order to get the texmod to run properly?

PS: I have downloaded and installed several textmods already in order to fix this problem. No results so far. I have also used different maps (also: no results). And, of course, I used the correct map.

Problems like this are usually because of an incompatible video card. If you're using on-board video, or an older card, it may not be fully compatible with DirectX9, which is required for Texmod to run properly.

I am now running DirectX10 or at least the latest version.
I just installed the latest version of DirectX.

What can I do to make textmod work?

Even if you've got 10 installed, if you've got an older card it won't work. What model video card do you have?

Hello,

I've got a NVIDIA GeForce FX5700VE.
Textmod did run early with this videocard (I think about a half a year ago).

I still can't figure out what the problem is..
I believe I do everything ok.

Hi! Try another packages and texmod versions. I succeded with V0.9B and "Tyria - Gwen Cartography Made Easy.tpf" after some other versions.
